Parish Nurse
Kathy Kreider, RN, BSN, provides health
education and health and wellness counseling. She also coordinates volunteers
and makes necessary referrals to community resources. She believes that
health relates to the whole person: body, mind and spirit. Through wellness
teaching and assessment, her emphasis is on prevention.
Parish Care Manager
Lorie Benovic, MA, provides evaluations and assessments of the
physical and health needs for the frail and elderly. She also organizes
volunteers to respond to specific client needs and provides consultation
to clients and families during periods of transition, such as hospitalizations
and nursing home placements.
